Eclipse IoT Challenge 4.0

anne News

We are pleased to announce that the Eclipse IoT Challenge is back in its 4th edition. Bitreactive is again one of the proud sponsors and look forward to follow the competitors closely.

If you have a new IoT idea and would like to build your solution based on open source software and standards you are qualified to enter. As in the previous competitions, heavy weight is put on how you document your progress and engage with the community. This competition is all about showcasing the great possibilities of open source in IoT solutions.  You can check out the 2016 winners here.

In the previous years, several of the top contestants used Reactive Blocks in their application development. We are hoping that also this time around contestants will find the benefits of our ready to use open source building blocks and modifiable example systems to finish their projects faster.

Participants are required to submit a proposal (http://iot.eclipse.org/open-iot-challenge/) for their solution before November 13, 2017. All participants will then have until March 15, 2018 to build their IoT solutions. The winners will be announced the end of March 2018.

We are pleased to be supporting this initiative!
